job interview last wed went well. very well to be exact. got a call the next day to inform me that i was shortlisted for 2nd round, which was to give a 10 min presentation based on a task assigned. 2nd round was scheduled for today, which i accomplished, as good as can be. except that the other guy in the dept, whom i did not get to meet last wed, seemed to try very hard to “impress” by throwing a few “curved balls” my way. his questions were weird… but thankfully the head of dept who interviewed me last week helped me along. phew…she’s pretty nice. i like her.
so now, we wait. sigh…I really don’t know what my chances are like. dad seems to think that I will be getting the job. he has more faith in me than I have in myself. hah.
october was a good month! :) climbed my very first mountain, and had my very first real camping experience! definitely first of many more to come! :D
anyways, can’t believe i am saying this, but i am starting to love my long hair! hahahaha… never thought this day would come.
oh, this day, coincidentally is also the 11 nov 2011. 11/11/11…. a day where 564 couples got married in sg. wow. never could understand why some people are just so caught up with getting hitched on dates like today’s…regardless of which day you choose, it will be special anyways. why share it with sooooo many other couples? duh. something i would never understand….
one of which includes its ability to provide natural healing remedies to the human body. I can strongly attest to this especially after the climb on mount ophir. At the beginning of the climb, I was breathing heavily and had to clear quite a bit of phlegm as my airways was clogged up. But from the middle onwards, my lungs began to clear and there was no more wheezing and the phlegm cleared! I was skeptical, and observed my symptoms right through till Sunday morning, and I didn’t have to cough a single time despite not taking the herbs as I did not have access to warm water. So I decided to stay off the herbs last night and today as well. So far so good…*fingers crossed*
I think the clean mountain air is very beneficial to my lungs. :D I should consider staying on the mountain…
well technically, baked is the right word. heh i am refering to the method of baking. if you haven’t tried already, u can try it on carrots and sweet potato fries! :) the sweet potato fries taste soooooo goood! i don’t particularly like the raw taste of carrots so i tried roasting it and i love it! the sweet potato fries are addictive. hehehe.
I am the self-professed queen of shopping. Sigh. Just burnt a hole in my pocket on some outdoor gear. Well, they are things which I actually need so its justifiable. Ha ha. And also got myself a pair of skins. Shall try it out to see if it works. Lol.

bliss is pampering yourself at the spa; regardless of whether its for a facial, or a massage. i think just the whole ambience of being in a quiet place and know that you are being taken care of makes one feel so pampered and feels as if u are transported to another realm. :)
Just love the high I get from gym work even though was feeling exhausted after the lesson this afternoon. We did shoulder work today. Think lateral raises, frontal raises and shoulder presses. Followed by abs. Total of 3 sets of 30 reps each exercise. :)
being at peace with myself is such a nice feeling to have. i think it’s so random, but i just had to write this down.
ohoh, i can finally tie my hair into a ponytail without it looking like a chicken’s tail. haha. cheap thrill, i know. but can’t help it cos my hair has never been this long my entire life. sad but true. :)
parents leaving for shanghai in 2 days’ time. home alone time for 7 days! well not technically “alone”, cos i have my bro with me. but everything’s gonna be all right. :)
